About NOS
What is NOS?
All NOS (New Old Stock / New Original Stock) parts are defined as parts that are
original from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured) Manufacturer that have
never been used on a vehicle/motorcycle.
What else should I know about NOS?
- NOS does not mean that a part or parts are absolutely perfect in every possible way.
- NOS parts may have small imperfections or shop/shelf wear.
- NOS parts can also be dirty/dusty, have scratches/scrapes on them.
- Many NOS parts are from a warehouse that has/had little or no heat in the warehouse.
- Many NOS items/parts have been in a storage warehouse for 15 to 40 plus years.
- Some NOS Parts have been removed from the original bags/wrappers.
- Some NOS parts may have slight surface rust, stains, corrosion on them.
- Many NOS parts may also have stickers, tape, or other kind of labels on them.
"But I want perfect NOS parts..."
If you are looking for absolutely perfect NOS parts, your expectations are unrealistic,
you are living in a fantasy world, and you should not bid/buy any NOS items.
Instead, you should go purchase perfect looking low quality reproduction junk,
if it is available, that is made in China.
